Jove Jove – T-shirt Illustration: “Matcha Got Ya”

I was invited by Jove Jove to create a t-shirt illustration based on the playful phrase “Matcha Got Ya.” The concept called for something fun, fresh, and full of character — capturing the spirit of the brand with a visual twist on matcha culture.

I explored several design directions, blending hand-drawn elements with bold colours and quirky personalities. While only one design made it to the final stage, I developed a few favourites along the way that didn’t make the cut but still captured the tone and energy of the brief.

This was a fun and expressive project — a chance to mix illustration with wordplay and wearable design.
